Hi! My name is Nicole Cheslak. I am originally from Ohio and moved to the Lake Norman area in 2003.
I have worked with children since I was young and have always wanted to eventually be a teacher. I have a history degree from UNC Charlotte and worked in the history field for many years teaching at a historic site.
My husband, Mark, and I have two wonderful little boys- Sonny (7) and Liam (5). After taking some time off to stay home with them while they were babies, I went back to UNCC to get my Masters in Elementary Education. I have been grateful to be a part of the LCA team as a teaching assistant while in graduate school and continuing my career there as a teacher.
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching history documentaries, and playing with our dogs.
