BUS TRANSPORTATION
Want to avoid the car lines? Lakeside has two buses with routes that pass through the cities of Cornelius, Huntersville, and surrounding areas. Students are picked up at cluster stops. Seats are available on a first-come first-served basis.

Registration form must be filled out and bus assigned in order to ride the bus

A parent/guardian must be present when dropping off, or the student will be transported back to the school and sent to Afterschool Care for a fee per hour.

For safety and security, students may only ride the bus and get on or off at the stop they are assigned to.

No transportation changes can be made after 2:00 pm.

Times may vary depending on traffic, weather, unforeseen incidents, or maintenance issues. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to drop-off/ pick-up

Transportation Donations
Lakeside Charter Academy Transportation does not have NC state funded fueling, repair and maintenance, or the ability to participate in the state bus replacement program. Local school districts enjoy these benefits for their academic (yellow) buses. Your donations go a long way toward helping us fund our program. This allows us to continue providing you the safest, most cost effective means to transport your child to and from school. We appreciate your support.
CARLINE
For parents wishing to drop off and pick up their children, Lakeside Charter Academy has the following time slots and carline routes established.
Drop Off starts at 7:30 am with classes starting at 8:00 am. Pick Up begins at 2:50 pm.
For the safety of all, we ask that all parents remain in their cars. A member of the Lakeside Charter Academy staff will assist all students into and out of the vehicles. For any late arrivals, parents will need to park and walk their child into the front office. For late pick-ups, the student will be sent to Afterschool Care and charged a per-hour fee.
