There is nothing that compares with sharing the art of music in any form, whether it be
performing, recording, writing, conducting, and most of all teaching. It is the original
breath. It is the fire that ignites the imagination. It is the is love shared by all. That is
what makes teaching music so paramount.

Lakeside Charter Academy has a spirit of learning and cooperation that enables scholars to achieve their respective goals and rise above the challenges faced in the classroom. There is a very special love that exists for my students.

I am so proud of general music students and band for their hard work in presenting an
amazing winter concert. A very special performance indeed.

I have a variety of interests including performing, writing, arranging, teaching, cooking,
canning and pickling, and even kite flying. I am also a published author and have
several CDs on the market.

I am a graduate of West Charlotte High School and North Carolina A&T State
University.

It is my mission to prepare all scholars for future educational endeavors and excel in
every way possible.
