Tyishia Edwards attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and later completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at ECPI.
She is an experienced education operations and administration leader with over 20 years of service supporting K–8 charter schools across North Carolina. She has co-led school startups and turnaround initiatives, including serving as a founding registrar and strengthening systems in urban and Title I school environments. Her expertise spans school operations, compliance, enrollment, finance, and human resources, with a strong focus on building sustainable, student-centered systems.
Tyishia is known for her ability to stabilize operations, support school leadership, and improve outcomes through effective organizational design and execution.
