Mrs. Lisa Upper serves as the Interim Principal for Lakeside Charter Academy. She is impressed with the unity shown by the Lakeside faculty and staff as they care for the students and each other. A long-time educator, Mrs. Upper holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and two Master's degrees, one in School Administration and one in Library and Information Science. She is passionate about ensuring that all people have the information and resources they need to reach their full potential.
In her free time Mrs. Upper acts in community theater, enjoys different cultural experiences, and travels whenever she can. She has been married for thirty-four years and lives in Greensboro. She has three married children, three grandchildren, and an orange cat named Cheeto.
