A New Chapter: Celebrating the Launch of 9th Grade at Lakeside

We are THRILLED to announce the addition of 9th grade to Lakeside! Starting in August, our current K-8 students can stay an additional year. Every Lakesider remains with the same teachers and classmates they’ve grown alongside still immersed in our challenging curriculum. This is a significant milestone for Lakeside, adding another chapter to our history of providing quality education in a family-like environment.

Small Classes, Big Dreams

At Lakeside, we have always prided ourselves on our small class sizes, which create a fun and dynamic environment for our students. With the addition of our 9th grade, class sizes will remain small, allowing teachers to continue providing personalized instruction and individualized attention.

9th Grade Curriculum

Lakeside’s curriculum and extracurricular activities have always been challenging and fun. From math and science, to dance, theater, and music - we prepare students for success in high school and beyond. With the addition of 9th grade, we will continue to provide an enriched academic experience, including honors courses.

A New Building, A New Beginning

As we give students more chances to excel, we’re also expanding our physical presence to match. To accommodate our new 9th-grade program, we are converting our multipurpose room in a separate area and will add new flooring, lighting, and separate bathrooms for these high school students. We’ll also have break-out classrooms and possibly lockers (with your continued support - anything is possible!). These new spaces will provide older students with a dedicated environment for learning and collaboration.
