"I love the fact that principal Dr. Montague knows my son has soccer practice on Tuesdays and always asks him about his games," says one mom when asked how she feels about Lakeside.

"The genuine family environment at the school between teachers, students, and parents - Lakeside is more than academics...we do life together. You'll always see teachers laughing together and hugging the kids in the hallway," she added. Recently, a student lost her tooth during a Physical Education (PE) class, and Lakeside staff sent two emails (one from the PE teacher and one from her homeroom teacher) to let her parents know. We sent photos and the actual tooth in a new Ziploc bag home to ensure our student's parents know that we care about these milestone moments. It's our thoughtfulness that sets us apart.
